Contract Management

Contract Management…

Playing a role in clinical operations, the legal department, business partners/external vendors, and even internal clients, ACG and their leadership will have a positive effect on the clinical industry as a whole as well as the organization itself. They will assist with negotiation, preparation, and the administration of many contracts that support clinical trials.
After drafting, proofing, and negotiating, ACG will then finalize contracts whether in behavioral health, clinical, or substance use disorder cases. With both external vendors/business partners and internal clients, their liaison role will be important to accommodate the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts. ACG will communicate with the Clinical and Administrative Teams in order to manage contracts and assess whether change orders or new contracts are required. After gathering monthly information from the clinical study team and vendor, ACG will also manage and track accruals and invoicing; interaction with inquiries and finance may also be required.
Other important tasks include developing new (or enhancing existing) contract templates, providing updates to finance by reviewing accrual forecasting, and providing potential improvement recommendations after analyzing the contract technologies and process itself. Finally, the ability to understand a company, the products, markets, people, customers, facilities, and technologies should never be underestimated.
