This is our story…

Prior to Mark Lassiter, CEO of The Atlantic Consulting Group, starting the company in 2017 he wondered if his 11 years of experience at the District Government’s Department of Behavioral Health and Department of Health would be enough for him to start a business. It was already incredibly stressful to be let go from a job that he knew and loved, but now he was pondering whether to become a business owner. But, Mark tapped into his faith and decided that he was going to dive into the world of entrepreneurship and make immediate use of his skills and expertise as a grants management guru. He soon discovered that although he was an expert in his field, his greatest asset was his willingness to serve. You see, when the business community heard that Mark had left the District and started a business, his phone rang off the hook: some expressed their upset because he’s no longer at the District while others wanted to help him succeed in his new venture.
Mark soon learned that his services were valued and that his track record for helping others were about to pay off.
Grant specialists, project managers, admin support, and contract specialists were just to name a few of the talent that quickly joined Mark in building ACG: a company dedicated to assisting small businesses in securing grants and contracts.
